Rocky River Sanitary Sewer Rate Increase
Based upon a recommendation from the City Administration, at its meeting on June 9th City Council passed an ordinance to increase the City’s sanitary sewer rates. Effective for the upcoming September 1, 2025 billing quarter, the sanitary sewer rate will increase from $38.00 per mcf to $40.50 per mcf. The increase is $2.50 per mcf. With the indicated increases, Rocky River’s sewer rate continues to be lower than many surrounding communities. For the most recent billing quarter, the average sanitary sewer bill in the City was $157. The last sewer rate increase was for December 1, 2012.
Rocky River sewer charges are based on water consumption readings per City of Cleveland Water Division records and are billed by quarterly estimates and an annual actual bill adjustment.
