Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Looking for one-on-one instruction or a more personalized learning experience? Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons provide individualized coaching tailored to each swimmer's goals and ability level. Lessons are scheduled based on participant, instructor, and pool availability.

Private Lessons

One instructor working with one swimmer.

Semi-Private Lessons

One instructor working with 2–3 swimmers of similar ability. Participants must register together—we do not match swimmers for semi-private lessons.

• Member: $182.00 (5 lessons) | $72.80 (2 lessons)

• Resident: $212.00 (5 lessons) | $84.80 (2 lessons)

• Non-Resident: $302.50 (5 lessons) | $121.00 (2 lessons)

Semi-Private Swim Lessons(per student)

• Member: $145.00 (5 lessons) | $58.00 (2 lessons)

• Resident: $181.50 (5 lessons) | $72.60 (2 lessons)

• Non-Resident: $266.00 (5 lessons) | $106.40 (2 lessons)

How Registration Works

• Complete the Private Swim Lesson Request Form.

• Our Aquatics staff will match swimmers with an instructor based on age, ability, instructor availability, and pool availability.

• Once matched, registration must be completed in person at least 24 hours before the first scheduled lesson.

Program Information

• Minimum age is 3 years old.

• Adults are welcome to participate.

• Lessons are 30 minutes each.

• Monthly payments are automatically charged to the card on file.

• Summer-only participants may enroll for June and July or continue until a 30-day cancellation notice is provided.

Monthly Scheduling

• Register on the 1st–7th: Receive 5 lessons for the current month.

• Register on the 8th–14th: Receive 2 lessons for the current month.

• Register on the 15th–30th: Lessons begin the following month.

Policies

Cancellation

Please notify both your instructor and the Civic Center Front Desk at least 4 hours before your scheduled lesson to avoid being charged.

Late Arrival

Lessons begin on time. Arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in the lesson being canceled and charged.

Make-Up Lessons

Due to high demand, each swimmer is eligible for one instructor-approved make-up lesson per month, based on instructor availability.

Payments

Private lesson fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any unused lessons expire at the end of the month.
