*** TEMPORARY TRAFFIC DISRUPTION ON LAKE ROAD AT MOREWOOD PARKWAY ***

Lake Road will be closed at Morewood Parkway for approximately ten minutes today, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at about 6:00 p.m. for a short parade to celebrate the Rocky River High School Boys Lacrosse Team and their historic OHSAA Division II State Championship, the first in school history. 

Please join them and come together as a community to recognize this incredible achievement. 

Celebration Schedule

• 6:00 p.m. - Championship Parade begins at Kensington Intermediate School and proceeds south on Morewood Parkway to Beach School

• Approximately 6:10 p.m. - Community rally at Beach School immediately following the parade

• 6:30 p.m. - Board of Education recognition of the 2026 Division II State Champion Rocky River High School Boys Lacrosse Team

Community members are encouraged to line the parade route, wear maroon and white, bring signs, and help us celebrate this unforgettable accomplishment.
