ORD 21 – 26 RETURNED PAYMENT FEES
The City has established a returned payment fee in the amount of $25.00 for any payment made to the City of Rocky River that is subsequently returned for any reason or dishonorment, including but not limited to insufficient funds, stopped payment, and closed accounts.
Please note that this sanitary sewer bill is due on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 by 4:30 p.m.
The City recently mailed the quarterly sanitary sewer bills dated September 1, 2026 to Rocky River property owners. Please watch for the arrival in your mailbox. Per Ordinance No. 28-25, sewer rates have increased. Effective with this bill, the rate increased from $40.50 per MCF (thousand cubic feet) to $43.00 per MCF and is billed at one tenth of an MCF. Please be aware, there is a minimum charge of one MCF per quarter or $43.00.
This is an estimated sanitary sewer bill for the period June 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026, the second quarter of the billing year. Your bill is generally based on one quarter of the past year’s water consumption.
Residential Sanitary Sewer Summer Sprinkling Credit: If eligible, the Residential Sanitary Sewer Summer Sprinkling Credit has been applied to your account. The amount of the sprinkling credit applied was $43.00.
