Charter Review Commission
Every six (6) years, the City Council of Rocky River, Ohio appoints members to the Charter Review Commission. The Commission is responsible for reviewing the Municipal Charter and, within five (5) calendar months of its appointment, submitting any recommended alterations, revisions, or amendments to the Charter to City Council.
City Council then submits the Commission's proposed changes (with official guidance from the Board of Elections) to the electors of Rocky River at the next succeeding election for their consideration and vote.
